The Breck Foundation taking bookings for online harms awareness sessions.
Following a successful visit to Asia in May 2026, where the Breck Foundation delivered 19 online safety sessions across Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand and Hong Kong, reaching 2,620 participants, we are delighted to announce that we are planning a return visit in 2027.
The Breck Foundation is a UK child online safety charity founded in memory of Breck Bednar, a 14-year-old boy who was groomed and murdered by someone he met online. Since 2014, we have educated and protected more than 335,000 people, including over 276,000 children and young people, through our in-person and virtual programmes.
We are now taking expressions of interest for in person delivery across Asia early 2027 – dates are not yet confirmed, but it is likely to be around March.
What we deliver
We deliver powerful, age-appropriate online safety sessions to children, parents, guardians, teachers, governors and school staff, using Breck's story, a moving, relatable account that resonates across all age groups in a way traditional talks often don't.
Student sessions – see link here
Our sessions cover:
- Breck's story
- Gaming and social media
- What grooming is and how to spot the signs
- Speaking up and reporting
- Where to get help
For secondary students, we also address radicalisation, county lines, gangs and the sharing of nude images. These students will also watch Breck's Last Game, which we share with schools in advance for approval.
We also offer tailored resources for SEND schools and can deliver to all age ranges.
Satellite presentations
Once a school has received our core session within the same academic year, we can follow on with any of the satellite presentations listed below:
- Understanding AI
- Fake News
- Digital Citizenship
- Wellbeing Online
We usually deliver sessions to two-year groups at a time but can accommodate individual year groups if preferred. A maximum of four in-person sessions can be delivered per day.
