FOBISIA's Biennial Teaching Community Conference aims to bring together teachers and teaching assistants from FOBISIA Member Schools for professional development, networking opportunities and to share best practices, and is hosted in Member Schools around Asia.

The 2023 conference agenda boasted an impressive lineup of keynotes and workshops designed to enhance teaching skills and pedagogical knowledge.
The theme of the conference was Thinking and Talking; with the sub themes of:

HELD ON 3 - 4 December 2021
LOCATION Brighton College International School Bangkok
FOBISIA's first virtual Teaching Community eConference boasted a fantastic 1700+ attendees online. The conference featured a line up of expert speakers including Kate Jones, Alex Quigley, Eva Cartwright and John Hattie who shared the very best of educational innovation with teachers and teachers and teaching assistants from 51 Member Schools.

LOCATION St. Christopher's International Primary School, Penang
180+ teachers attended this event. This conference included workshops in the areas of career advancement, EYFS, Primary & Secondary phases, TA's, Technology, Wellbeing & Whole School JAWS.
Keynote Speakers included Ross McGill @ Teacher Toolkit, Lisa Jane Ashes, and Eva Cartwright.

INAUGURAL TEACHING COMMUNITY CONFERENCE 2015
THEME Fit for Purpose
HELD FROM 16 - 18 October 2015
LOCATION British International School Phuket
185 teachers attended from 28 schools in Asia including Vietnam, India, Indonesia, Thailand, Malaysia, Brunei, and Korea.
This conference included workshops in the areas of Technology, Careers Global Issues, and Job Alike Workshops for Primary, Secondary, and whole school.
