Founded in 2004 in Shanghai, China, The British International School Shanghai Puxi (BISSPX) joined FOBISIA in 2012. 

The school follows a British type curriculum, and offers the International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE) and the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP).
