Founded in 1973 in Jakarta, Indonesia, British School Jakarta (BSJ) joined FOBISIA in 1988. 

The school follows a British type curriculum, and offers the International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE) and International Baccalaureate Diploma (IBDP). 

The British School Jakarta is accredited by an approved inspectorate.
