Founded in 2011 in Penang, Malaysia, Prince of Wales Island International School (POWIIS) joined FOBISIA in 2016. 

The school follows a British type curriculum, and offers the International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE) and A Levels.

Prince of Wales Island International School is accredited by an approved inspectorate.
