ECO Seek Foundation
The ECO Seek Foundation is passionate about global environmental issues with the drive and determination to help develop the young leaders of the future. They believe that 'By encouragement, support and empowerment of young people in our ever-changing world, we must create a platform of discovery to unlock the potential for sustainable environmental solutions'. Over the past years, Chris Hart (Founder) has worked with and listened to the feedback of many groups of students within the international community. He realised that by adapting, channelling and improving the communication loop through out-of-the-box ideas and synergies, major benefits and sustainable improvements can be achieved. Chris identified that there was a real need to enable and support young people to make a difference to the environmental issues that we face now and in the future.
Consequently, Chris formed the ECO Seek Foundation to create the core values of sustainable improvement and designed continuous improvement student award programmes and a school environmental standard within the context of the educational curriculum, recognising the opportunity to create an international community pioneering environmental solutions for the future. His goal is to assist and enable students to discover and unlock their potential to environmental sustainable solutions within the wider international educational community.
Inspired by the United Nations' commitment to address the global environmental issues that we face by 2030, the process focuses on engaging and empowering students encompassing a three-phase approach, Environment, Education and Equity, complemented by proven analysis and implementation techniques. An essential and unique aspect of the ECO Seek Foundation is to merge education, knowledge, cross-curricular activity and student activity with everyday activities and practices.
Environmental awareness should be encouraged throughout society and especially within the global youth population. Building tomorrow's leaders is the most important task at hand.
