University of Warwick, UK

The University of Warwick Centre for Teacher Education provides world-leading Initial Teacher Education (ITE) and Professional Development for teachers. Ranked 9th in the UK, Warwick is globally renowned and recognised.

For FOBISIA schools and teachers the Centre for Teacher Education offers a class-leading PGCEi. Led by experienced international school leaders and Warwick academics, and designed in consultation with Heads, the course is rigorous, robust and highly regarded.

The course includes two academic modules and a 144-hour assessed teaching practice, with a Link Tutor moderation visit. A full one week residential (in Bangkok) is followed by regular online workshops and tutorials. Students are fully supported throughout the programme, and are in regular contact with University staff.

The course is assessed at Master’s level (90 credits) and can lead directly to Warwick’s MA in Professional Education.
