FOBISIA's Student Events portfolio aims to facilitate student enrichment through inter-school academic and sporting events and activities.  Through effective networking and collaboration we aim to share and deliver relevant, high-quality CPD, in order to promote best practice across Member Schools.  

In order to achieve its aims, FOBISIA's Student Events delivery has a focus on Sports, Drama, Music, and other academic subject areas.  Senior leaders from Member Schools elect to work directly with a Sports, Drama, Music or Events Committee made up of representatives from around the region with the support of FOBISIA HQ.  These committees work to represent regional and individual school needs, develop the Student Events Calendar, provide quality assurance and collaborate to provide and enhance opportunities for children to participate, develop and perform in events and activities with an emphasis on improving leadership skills, building resilience, creating friendships and having fun.

FOBISIA Member Schools host 50+ Student Events annually including sporting, academic and arts events and activities across the region.  The Student Events Calendar is developed by Member Schools for Member Schools, and is shared with the membership prior to the commencement of the academic year.
