TRACK TO SUCCESS '24 - A CIVIL ENGINEERING DESIGN CHALLENGE (ONLINE)

This year POWIIS once again ran a Design competition for FOBISIA Schools linked to the United Nations Sustainability Goals.  Teams of Y5-Y13 students are invited to join in the TRACK to SUCCESS competition 2024!  Students were tasked with designing a NET ZERO light rail station hub, to connect everyone who lives, works and plays in the local area to a regional mainline station. The team had to decide where the hub was most needed – and then design the route that connects the two. The hub will provide a vital transport link AND become a community space, where people can also learn how to protect our planet for the future.
