visual arts Competiton 2025
DATES 29 August - 17 November 2026
HOST The British School Yangon
The results are in for this year’s FOBISIA Visual Arts Competition hosted by British School
Yangon, and we are delighted to celebrate the incredible creativity of students across the region.
This year’s theme, Hidden Worlds, invited young artists to uncover the unseen, revealing secret
dreams, imagined places, microscopic universes, and stories hidden beneath the surface of
everyday life. Students were encouraged to explore perspectives often overlooked and to
transport viewers into mysterious, magical, or deeply personal realms through their artistic
vision.
The response was extraordinary. Across all Key Stages, students demonstrated imagination,
technical skill, and thoughtful interpretations of the theme, reminding us that art has the power to
reveal what words sometimes cannot.
