IT IS HAPPENING! THE FOBISIA 2024 Student Leadership Conference hosted by Prince of Wales Island International School Balik Pulau Campus, Penang, promises to be a powerful experience. With the theme " Impacting Lives, Changing Futures", this conference will be an uplifting learning adventure for your student leaders and those leading social, economic and environmental change making (e.g. Eco Committee, Rotary Clubs, Humanitarian Programmes) in your school.
Featuring a live Race4Good experience with Ms. Linda Cruse as well as Malaysian and regional young leaders with international leadership experience and awards (Obama Award, Queen's Young Leader Award, Your Big Year 2011 Winner) including Melati Wijsen, Michael Teoh and Heidy Quah, interactive workshops, engaging discussions, a Leaders' Ball and talent show as well as a community uplift experience in various places around Penang. There will also be networking opportunities for students and teachers alike to connect with NGO's and changemaking organisations from Malaysia as well as South East Asia. Not to mention experiencing Penang's delicious street food and rich cultural heritage.
This conference is open to all secondary students from Year 7 to 13 in FOBISIA Schools. There are 300 spots available on a first come first serve basis. The early bird fee of USD 260 will cover all lunches and dinners and logistics, conference workshops, networking events and seminars with youth changemakers, business mentors and Ms. Linda Cruse, a ball and talent show, community uplift visits in Penang and a welcome event before the conference.
